CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICIES
What happens if I miss a class?
We understand that life happens. Classes run on a fixed schedule and will continue as planned even if a participant is absent. Missed classes do not pause or extend the course.
Can I make up for a missed lesson?
Each course includes one catch-up option (either a short private session or alternative arrangement, subject to availability). Additional make-ups are not included but may be booked as a paid private lesson.
Will the class be held if another participant is away?
Yes. Classes run as scheduled regardless of attendance. This keeps training consistent for the dogs and fair for all participants.
Can missed classes be carried over to a future course?
No. Make-up sessions must be used within the course timeframe and cannot be transferred to future classes.
What if I miss more than one class?
If more than one class is missed, the course continues as scheduled. We’re happy to recommend a private lesson if extra support is needed.
Are refunds available if I can’t attend?
We apply a common-sense approach here!
If you need to postpone or cancel, please give us as much notice as possible.
We understand that dogs and handlers cannot attend due to illness which often starts very close to the class date, so please just let us know ASAP.
Due to limited class sizes and reserved training spots, refunds are not available once the course has started.
Why do you have these policies?
Consistency is essential for effective dog training. These policies help ensure progress for every dog, respect everyone’s time, and keep classes running smoothly.
